Civil lawyer grabs 5BD in Poquoson

Joseph F. Verser bought a five-bedroom, three-bath home at 18 Merritt Drive in Poquoson from Jerry D. Eudy for $510,000 on Oct. 1.

The 3,612-square-foot home was built in 1998 in York Haven Anchorage/Poquoson Shores.

Verser is a partner at the Newport News law office of Heath Law P.L.C. He concentrates his practice in civil litigation matters.

He has a B.A. in political science from Longwood University and a J.D. from Regent University School of Law.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 108 home sales in Poquoson during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $218,500.
