Academy of Dance students raise thousands for charity

Students at the Academy of Dance raised more than $18,000 for Operation Smile through their annual Christmas Extravaganza.

According to a press release, "The funds will be used to provide life changing surgery to over 70 children suffering from severe facial deformities. The academy has held the Christmas show fundraiser for 18 years providing a total of 727 life-changing surgeries for children in need."
