About Halverson: Halverson is a 2009 graduate of Poquoson High School, where she was a two-time first-team All-Bay Rivers District selection playing for coach Jeff Gross. She was first-team All-District as a junior and senior, while garnering second-team accolades as a sophomore and honorable mention status as a freshman. Halverson was a 1,000-point scorer for her career. She was a member of the National Honor Society, FBLA and FCA. Born Feb. 12, 1991 the daughter of Matt and Cindy Halverson, she is majoring in communications. She is from Poquoson.
